Banyan Flooring provides flooring installation in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast, and north into southern Brevard. That is 147 ZIP codes. We sort them into four regions so you can find your town fast, and every region gets the same crews, offer and warranty.
It is a long, narrow strip of coast. Palm Beach County alone had 1,492,191 residents (2020 Census). Behind the beaches runs a chain of lagoons: the Lake Worth Lagoon along the central Palm Beaches, and the 156-mile Indian River Lagoon from Jupiter Inlet north past Melbourne. Barrier islands such as Palm Beach, Singer Island, Jupiter Island and Hutchinson Island sit between that water and the Atlantic.
The four regions
South Palm Beach County: 41 ZIPs, with Boca Raton the biggest, then Boynton, Delray, Greenacres and the Lake Worth area.
Central & North Palm Beach County: 28 ZIPs from the county seat, West Palm Beach, up to Jupiter and out west to Wellington and Loxahatchee.
Treasure Coast: 46 ZIPs in Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River counties, including Stuart, Port Saint Lucie, Fort Pierce and Vero Beach.
South Space Coast: 20 ZIPs in southern Brevard County, including Melbourne, Palm Bay, Indialantic and Melbourne Beach. A small number of ZIPs just outside these regions are also served; enter yours when you request a measurement.
What homes along this coast share
Nearly everything is built on a concrete slab, and the most common floor we take out is ceramic tile, followed by carpet and tired laminate. Condos and villas are common near the water, with association rules on approval, work hours and underlayment.
Humidity is constant, and plenty of owners leave for part of the year with the house closed up. Rigid SPC plank handles those conditions well, and we acclimate it in the conditioned room before it goes down.
Storms, leaks and what waterproof means
National Hurricane Center reports put the 2004 landfalls of Frances and Jeanne on the south tip of Hutchinson Island near Stuart, right in the middle of our map. A waterproof floor handles spills, leaks and a damp slab.
Standing floodwater is a different matter. FEMA Technical Bulletin 2 doesn’t class vinyl as flood-damage-resistant, and we won’t promise a flooded floor can be saved. Our crews come in once drying and repairs are finished.
One price rule everywhere
Across all four regions the estimate is $5 to $12 per square foot installed, before your discount. A 200 square foot room is roughly $1,200 to $1,900 before the discount. See the calculator, the current offer and financing.
