Floors we replace across Palm Beach Gardens
Palm Beach Gardens had 59,182 residents at the 2020 Census, spread across roughly 60 square miles of northern Palm Beach County. It was incorporated in 1959 and planned as a garden city. In the early 1960s its founders moved in two banyan trees, each about 80 years old, as the centerpiece. Given our name, that’s a piece of local history we’re fond of.
Interstate 95 crosses the city with three interchanges and Florida’s Turnpike adds two more. PGA Boulevard carries most east-west traffic and meets the Intracoastal Waterway at a drawbridge. The census counted 31,130 housing units here, which covers everything from association-run condos to detached homes on slab. Our crews work both local ZIPs, 33410 and 33418.
When an association reviews the floor
If your unit belongs to a condo or townhome association, expect a review before any flooring goes in. We help with the association’s approval paperwork, supply the product sheets a manager usually wants, and install the sound-rated underlayment your building requires.
Whatever sound rating the building specifies, the underlayment we lay will meet it. Approval itself belongs to the board, so we plan the crew’s arrival around its decision and its permitted work hours.
Cracked or hollow tile over slab
Ceramic tile set straight onto concrete is the floor we pull up most often in houses like these. One cracked piece is a nuisance; a hollow sound across a whole room means the bond is going. Where tile is still solid and the manufacturer permits it as a base, plank can float over it.
When the old floor has to come up, removal and haul-away are part of our quote. Tile and adhesive from decades past should be tested first, before anyone breaks it loose.
The path from the pool slider
Wet feet and sand from the pool deck land on the same few square feet every day. A 20-mil wear layer suits that path, and it suits dogs too. SPC plank shrugs off drips, so the kitchen and the back hall can share one continuous floor.
An enclosed, air-conditioned Florida room can take plank if the manufacturer’s rules allow it. Open-air lanais and pool decks are outside what we install.
Pricing a Palm Beach Gardens job
Most jobs here run $5 to $12 per square foot installed, before your discount. A 200 square foot room is roughly $1,200 to $1,900 before the discount. Tile removal, slab leveling and extra transitions at sliders move a job up that range, and a clean floated install over sound tile sits lower.
